Opposites Attract: A Pinkie Pie x Dan story chap 3

     Dan felt himself spinning around and around. Hesitantly, Dan pryed his eyes open. However, he quickly snapped them back shut, for he could not believe what he just saw. He shook his head rapidly in an effort? to awake him from what he hoped and prayed was a dream. Once again, Dan opened his eyes.

      Unfortunately, this was no dream. Dan just saw a vortex of which he was spirling around in. At the end was a bright, white light. Questions raced in Dan's mind. How did I get here? Where am I? What's with that bright light? How the heck do I get outta here?

      Faster and faster he spun towards the shining illumination. Suddenly, his whole body racked with pain. His head throbbed and he felt as if he was about to explode with agony. Never before has Dan felt so much anguish. What was happening to him?
      Dan let out a loud, piercing scream as he got sucked into the bright light. Then, everything went black.

The lovely sound of birds chirping awoken Dan. The first thing his eyes opened up to was a clear, blue sky and a bright, yellow sun. "Where the heck am I now?!" he thought aloud.

Dan sat up and took in his surroundings. He was able to acknowledge that he was in a meadow of some sort but that's about it. All around him was pretty flowers, cute criters, and buzzing bees. Such a cheery scenery made Dan sick.

"Gah! How did I wind up here from a science center?!" grumbled a frustrated Dan.

He raised his arm to scratch his head but froze when it reached halfway. Slowly VERY slowly, Dan brought his "hand" to the front of his face. A hoof. That's what he saw. Not a palm or fingers but a hoof. Dan was speechless.He quickly stood up to see that his once human form was replaced with a colt's.

"Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no!" Dan panicked.

He moved his head to and fro studying his new body. He coat was a light biege color, his mane and tail was jet black, and on his back legs were markings that read "Jerk" in bold, black letters.

"No! T-this can't be real! This has gotta be a nightmare! Maybe that biscuit I had for breakfast had too much milk in it and now I'm in the hospital having a fever dream!" said Dan, trying to convince himself that what he was seeing wasn't real. He curled up and clutched his head while rocking back and forth frantically. "Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh! How'd this happen? What brought me here?"

The machine.

Dan jolted up. "That's it! That's what brought me here! It's because of that dumb machine in that stupid science center that I'm here. That explains it." He seemed to be relieved a bit now that he knew how got to such an odd place.

Dan got up and started pacing back and forth. "Now the real question is, how do I get back home exactly?". This caused Dan to freak out all over again. What was he supposed to do now?

After much thinking, Dan decided that he should look for civilzation for help. "Where do I start looking?" he mumbled "Hmmm I guess I should start looking over that hill." Onward he went towards the tall, grassy hill up ahead. Once he was atop that hill, he was pleased to see a village in the valley below.

"Ha! I knew it! Maybe my bad luck is finally starting to let up!" a proud and happy Dan said to himself.

Then, he made his way to the village below.
