Opposites Attract: a Pinkie x Dan story Epilogue!

Only moments after entering the portal did Dan and Pinkie crash into the place where it all started: the science center. Dan sat up from the cold, hard linoleum floor and rubbed his aching head. He grumbled.

"Ugh, it hurts worse the second time." He then looked over to his right to see a girl with pink hair, rosy skin and a multicolored knee-length poofy dress on. She studying her arms and legs as if they were something she's never seen before.  

"Wow," she uttered. "So am I like you now? A...a.."

"A human? Yeah." Dan smiled. "How ya liking it?"

Pinkie wiggled her toes and fingers then giggled. "Hehe, I love it!" She jumped up and pounced on him with a big hug.

"Oh wow! This is gonna be super duper great! Now you can show me all the neato stuff in your world! I can't wait!"   She let him go and smooched him on the lips.

Dan grinned like a goofball. He stood up and brushed himself off. "Well, I guess we should go tell Chris that I'm-"

"THERE YOU ARE! WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN?!"

The shout startled Dan as he quickly turned his head around. He calmed down when he saw who it was: Elise. Chris was right behind her.

"Where on earth were you, Dan?! Me and Chris have been searching for you for an hour and-"

"Wait," Dan cut off. "...Did you say 'hour'? I was gone for weeks!"

Chris and Elise both looked utterly confused.

"Uh, Dan, are you...okay?" Chris asked cautiously.

Dan couldn't  believe it. One whole stinkin' month in  Equestria is only an hour on earth.  He scratched his head.

"Dan?"

"Uh, yeah, yeah. I'm fine, sheesh."

Elise and Chris still looked puzzled but just shook it off, figuring it'd be pointless. Chris noticed Pinkie Pie standing by. He didn't have any idea who she was or why she was with Dan.

"Dan, um, who's the girl?" he asked.

"Oh she's P-!Er, uh...Penny." he said slowly. He didn't want to use her REAL name because he knew that on earth, people would ridicule someone with such a odd name.  Pinkie looked at him with confusion but he shot her a look that said "Just roll with it. I'll explain later."

She giggled. "Yep! That's me! And you must be Chris!" She looked over at his wife. "And you must be Elise! Dan told me all about you guys!"   she said cheerfully.

Elise, though still peeved, forced up a smile and said hello.  Chris just waved and grinned.

"Alright, alright. Now we all know each other. Can we go now?   I just wanna get back home!" Dan announced, grumpily.

Elise rolled her eyes and sighed. "Yeah, yeah. Let's go. Chris, your driving." She tossed him the keys as she quickly made her way towards the exit.

"Hey, it's your turn to drive!" he said, chasing after her.

Pinkie and Dan slowly followed after, hand in hand.
